
The lodge has 36 buildings which include 27 cottages. Surrounding the Desmarais
Bay, it evokes a small village with its church, its paved street and its
sentries.
All our cottages are provided with electricity 24 hours a day
and they are all linked to an artesian well providing water to everyone.

Type A cottages : 21 cottages
(5, 7, 8, 9, 10, 12, 14, 23, 24, 25, 26, 27,
28, 29, 30, 31, 32, Moose, Log cabin, Dozois and Lodge)
These consist of 20 cottages and include all commodities such as: refrigerator,
oven, utensils, coffee maker and dishes to prepare all meals, complete bathroom as well as pillows and mattresses. Except for cabin #25 which does not have an oven but a two-burner stove instead.
These cottages can lodge from 2 to 29 persons and are, for the most part, newer, therefore bigger and more comfortable.
Note:
We have a huge cottage called the Lodge that can accommodate up to 29
persons of the same group. The Lodge is appreciated for its size and its
facilities. It is frequently used for family reunions, work groups or for a
group of friends. We also have three other cottages respectively
accommodating 10 and 14 persons.
Our lodging capacity is one of our major
asset.
Type B cottages (rustics): 6 cottages
(1, 2, 3, 4, 6 and
11 )
These consist of 6 rustic style cottages, constructed of round timber and cathedral ceilings. Similar to the Cottage A style, they include all the commodities except for hot water and they are equipped with a two-burner stove as opposed to a full stove and oven. The showers are located in a common unit located nearby. Built over 65 years ago, the style is a reminder of the first houses built for the miners at the Bourlamaque mine, which is listed as a historical site in Val d’Or Abitibi. They are ideal for a short stay.
