Welcome

Dorval Lodge is located alongside Highway 117 at kilometer 402, in the center of the LaVerendrye wildlife reserve in Abitibi. In fact, we are the only outfitter indicated on most Quebec road maps.

Our cottages are dispersed along the shoreline of the Dozois reservoir, a body of water which covers an area of about 2,600 miles.

Being the only outfitter on the huge Dozois reservoir, we know that fishing pressure is relatively low compared to other more popular reservoirs.

We recycle!

Eventhough recyclable material collection services are not available at our lodge, we have provided our own recycling program. To this effect, we have placed green plastic bins on the balconies of every cottage, in which our customers can deposit empty cans and consigned bottles. Unfortunately, to date we are unable to recycle plastic and paper.
